The septic tank digests organic matter and separates floatable matter and solids from the wastewater. In conventional, or soil-based systems, the liquid is discharged from the septic tank into a series of perforated pipes buried in a leach field, chambers, or other special units designed to slowly release the effluent into the soil. This area is known as the drainfield.

Our private drinking wells are constructed by percussion and/or rotary-drilling machines. Drilled wells can be hundreds of feet deep and require the installation of casing, and here at ASP we use 4" steel as our primary casing product. Drilled wells have a lower risk of contamination due to their depth and use of continuous casing.
